Our Finished Bathroom
It has only taken 6 months, but I'm happy to report that the bathroom is finally complete!
And a few before & afters...
I'll be adding sources soon {which could mean next month}, and some of our suggestions on how to renovate a bathroom on a budget.
My hubby and father-in-law worked tirelessly on this bathroom: 3 consecutive weekends of work, including 1 long weekend, and installing & reinstalling the tub after the tile had been grouted {story for another day!}. ALWAYS read the reviews on an item you are about to buy. If more than 1 person (or all 11 reviewers) have the same problem, chances are you will too. Lesson learned.
Hope you all have a wonderful week!

I an in love with that mirror! The whole transformation is amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love this bathroom. We just completed a DIY master bath so I can relate to your frustrations. We had several setbacks as well. I especially like the mirror and sconces. Love the tile floor too.

ReplyDeleteWe are getting ready for a bathroom redo-hope mine comes out looking as nice as yours.
ReplyDeleteMore wood elements and earthy colors fit the bathroom, Jillian. For some reason, it reminds me of a native hotel I've seen in a magazine. There is tranquility, which is a good factor for any bathroom space. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really excited to see the bathroom that you have renovated. I love that all. Have done a great job.
ReplyDeleteLooks great - so much more light and I love the shower curtain, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI would love for you to link it up at the Mommy Archive. We're focused on bathroom makeovers, organisation and cleaning this week but you can also link up your fab old posts on all sorts of other topics from spring cleaning and green cleaning to housework routines and laundry, Alice@ Mums Make Lists x
I really like the new sink and vanity. It would appear that there's less storage space, but I can see that you opened up more room by getting rid of the old one. My favorite part though is the new color scheme. While I have nothing against bright walls, beige and dark blue look more mature and relaxing rather than whimsical. Thanks for sharing, Jillian!
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I feel validated, too :) I love the vanity painted that color.
